CNA Continuing Education Units (CEU's)

Service Description

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) CEU Requirements for Renewal CNA's must obtain forty-eight (48) hours of In-Service Training/CEUs within the certification period. A minimum of twelve (12) of the forty-eight (48) hours shall be completed in each year of the two (2) year certification period. A maximum of twenty-four (24) of the forty-eight (48) hours may be obtained only through a CDPH-approved online computer training program. CEU certificates must be attached to the CDPH Renewal Application Form for validation.  *Must have 8 hours of work experience as a CNA for renewal. ​ YEAR 1 - (Year you PASS the State Exam): 12 CEU's required. YEAR 2 - (Year of Renewal): 3 CEU's required. *Only 24 Hours are allowed to be completed through an online training program.

REGISTRATION POLICY We understand that situations beyond your control may arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule your registration appointment, please contact us at least 1 business day prior or reschedule online or by calling the office at (619) 882-0421 during office hours (Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:00 pm). The deposit paid online is non-refundable and will be credited toward your registration. Prospective students are allowed to reschedule 1 time.
