Today we proudly celebrate the graduation of our February 2026 AM Nurse Assistant class at Healthcare Science Academy.
Over the past several weeks, these students have demonstrated discipline, professionalism, compassion, and resilience. From mastering foundational theory in the classroom to completing 100 hours of hands-on clinical training, they have earned this milestone through hard work and dedication.
Becoming a Nurse Assistant requires commitment — early mornings, focus, teamwork, and a strong foundation in patient-centered care. This cohort rose to the challenge, supporting one another and stepping into clinical environments with confidence and professionalism.
🩺 Next Up: State Exams
With program completion behind them, our graduates are now eligible to sit for the California State Competency Exam. Upon passing, they will officially become Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) — credentialed healthcare professionals ready to enter the workforce.
We have full confidence in their preparation and readiness.
🚀 RN Program Applications & The Multicriteria Advantage
For many of our graduates, CNA certification is more than a job — it’s a strategic step toward becoming a Registered Nurse.
In California, many nursing programs utilize a Multicriteria Selection Process when reviewing applicants. Holding an active CNA certification and gaining hands-on patient care experience can:
✔ Add valuable application points
✔ Demonstrate direct patient care experience
✔ Strengthen clinical competency before nursing school
✔ Show commitment to the nursing profession
✔ Improve overall competitiveness in the selection process
Having CNA experience not only strengthens an application — it builds real-world confidence that carries into nursing school and beyond.
Some of our graduates will begin working immediately as CNAs, gaining bedside experience while completing their RN prerequisites. Others are already preparing and submitting RN program applications, positioning themselves strategically for acceptance.
Whether their next step is employment or enrollment into a nursing program, this class represents forward momentum.
Your journey began with a goal.Today, you graduate with purpose, preparation, and opportunity.
Congratulations, February 2026 AM Class. 🎓✨
