Our healthcare programs’ year-round rolling admissions process allows students to begin their health education programs at multiple junctures throughout the year. All curricula, are structured toward a specific end date, so that as long as students adhere to their course schedules, they can have confidence about when they will complete their healthcare programs.

Our Online Nurse Assistant (CNA) Training Program may be more convenient for students who have other work or family obligations that limit their availability to be on campus. Online programs provide students with the flexibility to complete assignments at home on their own schedules.

Home Health Aide Certification

40 Hour Certification Course
The Home Health Aide Training Program prepares the caregiver to provide personal care for the patient in the home setting. Home health aides are certified by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and are employed by home health agencies to provide personal care services under a plan of treatment prescribed by the patient’s physician and surgeon who is licensed to practice medicine in California.​
Must have a current Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certificate, or;
Have successfully completed a 160-hour Nurse Assistant Training Program (NATP)
May begin HHP training only after successful completion of the NATP training.

Our Nurse Assistant Training Program is
Approved by the CDPH
California Department of Public Health
The CDPH Training Program Review Unit is responsible for the review, approval/disapproval and continual oversight of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), and Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) training, Orientation and In-service programs.
Approved Nurse Assistant State Testing Site
The Healthcare Science Academy is an approved state testing site by the Southern California Regional Testing Center. Upon completion of the program, ALL of our graduates take their state exams to become a Certified Nurse Assistant at our academy.
